‘Arsene Wenger is abusing my human rights as an Arsenal fan’ – Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan has joked about planning a protest march against Arsene Wenger as the Arsenal manager is “abusing my human rights.”

The ‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter, a noted friend of the maligned President Trump, has been vocal in his negativity against the recent Women’s March, branding some which took part as “rabid feminists” before describing the act of protest as “vacuous”.

Trump’s recent controversial executive order, dubbed the ‘Muslim ban’, has prompted similar protests amid claims of being unlawful towards human rights and now, in a tweet which evokes Morgan’s controversial comments, the Gunners fan reacted to two early Watford goals on Tuesday evening by pretending to recruit followers to his cause.

Goals from Younes Kaboul, formerly of rivals Spurs, and Troy Deeney put Watford two goals up inside 14 minutes as Wenger side failed to register a single shot on target during the opening 45 minutes.

Alex Iwobi went on to halve the decifit after the break but the visitors held on for a first win in eight games.

Despite the loss, Morgan will be relieved to see that both Chelsea and Spurs were held to frustrating draw, with the latter moving up to second on goal difference.
