Barcelona scout Kane and Eriksen during Spurs’ draw at Real Madrid

Barcelona are tracking Tottenham pair Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen and scouted them against Real Madrid.

Barca sent sporting director Robert Fernandez to watch as Mauricio Pochettino’s side managed an impressive 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo understand that Fernandez was at the game to assess Kane and Eriksen.

Kane’s incredible form in front of goal – he has already scored 15 goals for club and country this season – has seen him attract interest from a number of top sides.

Barcelona’s fierce rivals Real Madrid have been keeping an eye on him and may make a move for him next summer.

As a result, Fernandez was keen to see whether his team should also be preparing a bid for the 24-year-old.

Eriksen, who scored the only goal as Spurs beat Bournemouth in the Premier League last weekend, has been a long-term target for Barcelona.

A lack of success in convincing Liverpool to part with Philippe Coutinho means they may return for the Danish dynamo.

Spurs will follow their European exploits with a game against fellow Champions League side Liverpool in the English top flight on Sunday.

Top of La Liga Barcelona host Malaga on Saturday night.
