Chelsea clear out Diego Costa’s locker and dump Range Rover in youth team car park

Diego Costa’s car has been dumped in Chelsea’s youth team car park, it’s been reported.

And in another sign that there’s no reconciling Costa and the Blues, his locker at the Cobham training HQ has been cleared out.

Costa has remained in Brazil since the summer and refused to come back to England after being frozen out of boss Antonio Conte’s plans.

The Spanish striker, 28, left his white Range Rover behind in the senior players’ car park but now it’s been towed away, according to The Sun .
Costa has dominated the headlines following his refusal to come back and train with Chelsea’s development team.

It came after Conte told him he no longer featured in his first-team plans via a text message.

Costa accused Chelsea of treating him ‘like a criminal’ and has been left out of the 25-man squad for the Champions League group stages.

But he faces the prospect of having to return to London against his wishes for clear-the-air talks before Chelsea consider letting him leave.

His former club Atletico Madrid decided not to push for a deal before last week’s deadline day as they can’t register him to play until the new year due to their transfer ban.

Chelsea also had no intention of letting him leave until he returns, something Atletico are encouraging Costa to do to help smooth his exit.
