Conte expects sleepless nights finding a “solution” to Chelsea’s problems

Antonio Conte is expecting some sleepless nights as he tries to “reflect” and solve Chelsea’s current problems.

The Blues have lost two consecutive Premier League matches after falling to defeats against both Liverpool at Stamford Bridge and more recently, away at Arsenal.

The Italian also admitted he was embarrassed by the way his team performed against the Gunners.

“I don’t sleep, sure. I don’t sleep. This is normal. After this game, this defeat, it’s normal for me not to sleep,” said Conte.

“Not only tonight, but for two nights. When I don’t sleep, I reflect. And it’s important to reflect. We must improve a lot if we want to stay up and not in the middle of the table.”

“I have to find the solution very, very soon because I think that we played a very bad game.”

Chelsea were torn apart in a rampant first half display by Arsenal, a result that saw them slump to eighth position in the Premier League.

After a fine start to the new season, Conte’s men have picked up just one point from their last three league games, meaning they are now eight points behind the leaders Manchester City.

Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil all scored before half time to ensure a relatively comfortable victory for Wenger’s men over their London rivals.
