Leicester City hope to finalise the £18million transfer of Ahmed Musa from CSKA Moscow this week, reports Daily Mail.
CSKA coach Leonid Slutsky said the Nigeria international will fly to England on Tuesday.
Speaking to Russian newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Slutsky said: ‘(Musa) flies on Tuesday, the move is to the champion of the Premier League.’
Leicester tried and failed to sign Musa in January but have remained on his trail.
The 23-year-old has been at a CSKA training camp at an army base, 10 miles outside Moscow, and trained with his team-mates on Saturday but did not take part in a practice match against FC Yenisey Krasnoyarsk on Sunday.
CSKA have lined up a replacement for Musa which has accelerated proceedings.
