Hiddink confirms Pedro will miss Chelsea’s next two games

Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink has confirmed that winger Pedro has a “little hamstring injury.” Furthermore, he also revealed he’s set to miss the Blues’ next two games against Norwich City and Stoke City.

Pedro limped off early during Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Southampton at St Mary’s on Saturday, a blow for the Blues given how good he’s been in the past couple of weeks.

Chelsea have a very busy couple of weeks, playing Norwich City away in midweek before hosting successive games against Stoke City and PSG whilst ending with a trip to Everton in the FA Cup.

Hiddink has ruled the Spaniard out of the games against Norwich and Stoke but says he hopes he’ll be available against PSG and Everton.

In Pedro’s absence, one would expect Oscar to come into the side, either on the right or in the middle depending on where Hiddink wants to play Willian.

However, it is another injury blow for Chelsea, who currently have Kurt Zouma, John Terry and Radamel Falcao all out whilst Alexandre Pato still isn’t fully fit.
