Hiddink hints at shock U-turn to remain at Chelsea despite Conte’s arrival

GUUS HIDDINK has revealed his desire to stay at Chelsea and work with the youth academy.

Hiddink saw the Blues earn a 1-1 draw away to Liverpool last night.

The Dutchman will make way for Antonio Conte, who will take over the reins at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Although it is unclear where Hiddink will end up next, the 69-year-old would love the chance to improve the club’s youth academy system.

“I’m not definitely going away, I’d like to be involved with the development of players, like Tammy [Abraham] and maybe some others, not just in the club but outside the club, that’s what I’d like to do very much, we’ll see what will happen in the upcoming time,” Hiddink said.

Liverpool’s draw mean they stay in eighth spot in the table.

The Blues host champions Leicester on the final day of the season.
