Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi revealed that Barcelona star Neymar would be his dream signing for the club.
Iwobi was asked which player he would like to sign for the Gunners other than Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, and was quick to name Neymar.
As reported by Copa90 (via Goal), the 20-year-old said: “Neymar, he’s entertaining. But then again, if we bring in Neymar, that’s my position gone!”
A product of Arsenal’s academy, Iwobi has impressed since breaking into the first-team, and has an average pass accuracy of 86% in the Premier League this season.
Neymar meanwhile is one of the standout players in world football, and has commenced the season in encouraging form, scoring four goals in five La Liga appearances.
Iwobi didn’t have his best performance on Sunday as Arsenal beat Burnley 1-0, with the winger being substituted in the second half.
However Arsenal’s victory extended their winning run in the Premier League to five matches, with Arsene Wenger’s men currently third in the table, meaning they’ll go into the international break in buoyant mood.
