Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has heaped praised on Kylian Mbappe, claiming that the Monaco forward is showing ‘exceptional’ talent for his age.
The 18-year-old is one of the most coveted young players in Europe after a stellar season in Ligue 1 and has been linked with Chelsea, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester United, who have reportedly launched a £96 million offer after a £69m bid was rejected.
Mbappe has 19 goals in 32 appearances for Monaco this season and has been rewarded with his recent call-up to France’s senior squad.
‘What he does at his age is exceptional,’ said Kante.
‘He’s shown things in Ligue 1 and Champions League – this is the choice of the coach [if it’s too early to play him].
‘In any case, his integration is helped by the presence of quite a few Monaco players
‘Those who are here today deserve their place. There are quite a few Ligue 1 players, everything is going well.’
