Liverpool on friday completed the signing of Andrew Robertson from Hull on a long-term deal
The Scotland international is understood to have cost them a fee of £8million with a further £2million in add-ons.
Robertson completed his medical at the Spire hospital in Liverpool after the clubs agreed a fee for his services on Thursday.
Speaking shortly after completing his move, the 23-year-old told Liverpoolfc.com: “It feels a wee bit surreal just now. Obviously I’m delighted. There’s been a lot of speculation over the last couple of weeks but I’m glad that the deal’s finally been done and I’m a Liverpool player.
The left-back will not fly to Hong Kong where Jurgen Klopp’s side are training for pre-season.
Robertson will become the Reds’ third summer signing after previous moves for Mohamed Salah, from Roma, and Dominic Solanke, on a free transfer from Chelsea.
It may push Spaniard Alberto Moreno to the exit after failing to settle at Anfield, with the Merseysiders looking to recoup £15million.
