Manchester United ‘plotting British record £155m move for Dybala’

Manchester United are reportedly planning to make a £155 million move for Juventus star Paulo Dybala next summer.

If the deal did go ahead then it would break the British transfer record, which was set last year when United signed another midfielder from Juventus, Paul Pogba, for £89 million.

As reported by the Mirror, Barcelona are determined to sign Dybala to bolster their midfield options but United are eager to persuade the Argentine to make the switch to Old Trafford instead.

One of the brightest burgeoning talents in world football, Dybala has been in superb form in the early stages of the season – he has scored 12 goals in eight appearances for Juventus across all competitions.

Dybala is usually deployed behind the striker and is excellent technically, while he is a superb distributor of the ball, as demonstrated by the fact that he has been successful with 86 per cent of the passes that he has attempted in Serie A this season.
