Mkhitaryan dedicates Premier League goal of the month award to Sunderland fan

Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan has dedicated his Premier League Goal of the Month award to Sunderland supporter Bradley Lowery.

Five-year-old Lowery is currently battling rare cancer neuroblastoma for the second time.

Mkhitaryan won the Goal of the Month award for his spectacular scorpion kick against Sunderland last month.

The Armenian showed tremendous technique to flick the ball over Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, although officials failed to spot that he was offside when the goal was scored.

Having endured a frustrating start to his United career, which encompassed him being left out of the side by manager Jose Mourinho for a period, he has now established himself as one of Unitedā€™s key players and will hope that he will receive plenty of further accolades during his time at the club.

An excellent distributor of the ball, Mkhitaryan has been successful with 85% of his attempted passes in the Premier League this season, while he has created 15 chances.
