Juan Carlos Unzue is considered in some quarters to be the favourite for the Barcelona coach’s job but Luis Enrique’s assistant locked horns with Neymar after the winger took exception to some comments on his play.
Occurring in the build-up to the Blaugrana’s match with Villarreal, Unzue is said to have made a few tactical points to Neymar that led to a rising tone over the disagreement.
According to the reports, which emerged from the local media and Mundo Deportivo, a member of the Barcelona backroom team felt it necessary to intervene and told the player to focus on his football if he is to reach the top of the game.
However Neymar remained unhappy about the argument, reeling off a lengthy response with much attention paid to the incident in the dressing room after the session.
