Ozil out, De Gea, Bellerin in as PFA Premier League Team of the Year is leaked online

A leaked photo showing the PFA Team of the Year appears to have been leaked on Twitter, although the source has not been confirmed as entirely legitimate.

The nominations for the PFA Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year were released last week, but not many know what the team will look like once the awards are handed out this month.

However, there is a picture of what appears to be a magazine showing the PFA Team of the Year, which certainly seems like it could be one very close to what the official one is once it comes out.

The team is dominated by Leicester City players, with Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante all making it into the side.

Vardy is partnered up-front by Harry Kane – the Premier League’s top goalscorer with 24 at the moment – while his team-mates Danny Rose and Dele Alli are also in there.

West Ham’s shrewd signing Dimitri Payet makes it into the side, but one of the big absences is that of Mesut Ozil – the 27-year-old has the highest number of assists (18) in the Premier League this season.

Ozil has been rather quiet in 2016, but many will feel the first half of the Germany international’s season was enough to get him in there.

Meanwhile, David De Gea is chosen in between the sticks, while Hector Bellerin’s impressive campaign sees him put in at right-back.
