Sergi Roberto becomes Barcelona’s Sergio Ramos

Barcelona may have unearthed their very own Sergio Ramos-of-sorts after Sergi Roberto’s last-gasp strike sealed a historic Champions League comeback against Paris Saint-Germain at the Camp Nou.

The Real Madrid captain has made a name for himself with his late heroics, famously scoring in stoppage time in the 2014 Champions League final against Atletico Madrid to send the match to extra time en-route to their Decima victory.

And now, it seems, Roberto too has lived up to the reputation of his near namesake from Los Blancos.

With the Blaugrana leading 5-1 in the match and with the score locked at 5-5 on aggregate, the now oft-used right-back managed to tap home a lofted chip into the area from Neymar at the 94 minute and 29 second mark.

The resulting goal helped seal the club’s progression into the quarter-finals for the 10th straight season with what was virtually the last kick of the game.
