[VIDEO] Amazing: Blind boy identifies Barcelona players just by touching them

A video of an unnamed but visually impaired young boy who has the uncanny ability to identify by merely touching has surfaced online.

The undated video by BarcaTV, the club’s television channel, shows the boy, aged about six, in the Barcelona dressing with the players before a game at the Camp Nou.

He successfully touched and identified former captain Carles Puyol, Eric Abidal, Lionel Messi, Alexis Sanchez and goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto.

A bewildered Messi autographed the boy’s Barcelona shirt while Pinto planted a kiss on his head.

Although the video is undated, it is not expected to be shot later than 2013 at the latest given the fact that all the players, bar Messi, have left the Catalans since then.

Puyol hung his boots in 2014 while Abidal left for Monaco after battling and undergoing a successful liver transplant in 2013. Sanchez left for Arsenal in 2014 while Pinto has since retired from active football.
