Barcelona stars Luis Suarez, Gerard Pique and Lionel Messi have already started the road to glory for their young children by enrolling them in the club’s academy.
The first-team trio are vital to Luis Enrique’s star-studded squad in Spain, but that does not mean the club are standing still and admiring their qualities.
El Mundo Deportivo report that Benjamin Suarez, son of Luis, has joined Pique’s son, Milan, and Messi’s young boy, Thiago, by all enrolling in Barcelona’s youth system this week.
The special programme takes in children aged between 3-5 and the the main goal is for the young kids to slowly understand the Barcelona ‘DNA’.
Tiago, Milan and Benjamin will take part in classes on Monday and Wednesday, with Barcelona’s staff monitoring the lessons which hold up to 25 children.
The classes allow no access to the media, but the aforementioned report reveals Franc Carbo – recently appointed new director of the FCB Escola – welcomed the young trio to the academy this week.
If Thiago, Milan and Benjamin are anything as good as their fathers, then Barcelona fans are certainly in for a treat in the years to come.
