Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set for an early Manchester United exit with Jose Mourinho happy to sell the Armenian star in January, according to reports.
A £30million signing from Borussia Dortmund last summer, Mourinho has handed Mkhitaryan just one start.
Juan Mata, Paul Pogba and Wayne Rooney – who is also now out of favour – have all been preferred in one game or another this term.
And Mourinho is set to listen to offers for the former Shakhtar Donetsk star, with The Sun reporting a January move could be on.
The 27-year-old suffered a thigh injury to wreck the start of his season, but Mourinho is still yet to be convinced, but former Manchester United star Owen Hargreaves insists last season’s Bundesliga Player of the Year must start for the Red Devils.
Hargreaves, 35, said: “I can’t believe he’s not getting a look-in. He’d be a banker in my starting XI.
“He had a slow start at Dortmund too and was the players’ player of the year last season.
“He scored 23 goals and had 32 assists, which are staggering numbers.”
