Alexis Sanchez has warned his Arsenal team-mates to expect a tough game when they host Tottenham at The Emirates on Sunday.
The two north London sides head into the derby clash in contrasting form, with Arsenal having booked their place in the Champions League last 16 on Tuesday night.
Tottenham, meanwhile, still face an uphill battle to qualify after their 1-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen at Wembley on Wednesday.
Spurs are also without a win in three attempts in the Premier League under Mauricio Pochettino.
And Sanchez delivered the following message to his team-mates ahead of Sunday’s crunch clash at The Emirates.
Sanchez is quoted as saying by Metro: “We’re taking it game by game but we have a lot of ambition. I think all the teams are challengers. Tottenham are a tough side but all teams are our rivals.
“There are no easy games in the Premier League – you can get beaten by the bottom side here and that’s the beauty of it.”
Arsenal finished in second place and without a trophy last season, while Tottenham ended up in third spot behind their bitter local rivals.
Arsenal – who lifted the FA Cup in 2014 and 2015 – have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 season.
