A poor Cristiano Ronaldo touch led to a portion of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu to boo and jeer the Portuguese star, and the winger didn’t handle his own fans turning on him, as he was caught on camera by Deportes Cuatro insulting them back for their entitled views on his football.
The episode in question took place around the 23rd minute mark when he lost possession, and was then criticised for it.
“Sons of b*****s,” Ronaldo said in Spanish in the direction the jeers were originating from.
He would then go on to insult that segment of the crowd once more, this time in Portuguese, before captain Sergio Ramos came over to calm him down.
Nonetheless, after scoring a goal and assisting another, the Estadio Bernabeu had nothing but applause for their Portuguese star.
