Allegri agrees deal to quit Juventus amid Arsenal rumours

Rumoured Arsenal managerial target Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly agreed a deal to leave his current job at Juventus at the end of this season – a year before his contract was due to end.

The Italian tactician has emerged as the major favourite to replace Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium next season after growing doubts over the Frenchman’s position at the club.

Arsenal haven’t won the title since all the way back in 2004, and have seen their title challenge crumble once again after back-to-back defeats to Watford and Chelsea.

Fans are growing increasingly impatient with Wenger, who himself is heading towards the end of his contract this summer.

According to Calciomercato, Allegri now looks set to become available for Arsenal if they want him, with the former AC Milan boss striking a deal to leave the Turin giants earlier than expected.

It is not yet clear if he will choose on a move to north London, but the timing of the move suggests the man himself could be confident of landing the Arsenal job.
