Tiemoue Bakayoko will be a Chelsea player next season after agreeing to join the Blues in a £35 million deal, according to reports.
The Monaco star has risen to the top this campaign after a string of impressive performances in Ligue 1 and in the Champions League.
Manchester United have continually been linked with a transfer, but it looks as though Chelsea have beaten the Red Devils to the punch.
Monaco have a host of young stars that look set to exit the club this summer and £35 million for Bakayoko could be a bargain considering how much Kylian Mbappe could go for.
Tuttomercatoweb claim the deal is all but done with Bakayoko ready to put pen to paper on a five-year deal.
Bakayoko has already agreed personal terms and has decided Stamford Bridge is the best place for him to continue his career.
The Frenchman could be the perfect man to partner N’Golo Kante who has been a revelation this season since arriving from Leicester City.
Bakayoko is still just 22, but is wanted by several top clubs including Jose Mourinho’s side.
But United cannot guarantee the youngster Champions League football while Chelsea are within touching distance of lifting the Premier League title.
