Haller calls for West Ham response

West Ham striker Sebastien Haller has urged his side to get back to winning ways after consecutive defeats. The Hammers slipped to a 2-0 defeat at Everton in the previous round of fixtures and were beaten 2-1 by Crystal Palace before the international break.
West Ham are winless in four across all competitions and have managed just one point from the last nine available in the Premier League.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men were rated as contenders to break into the top six before the campaign began and they did make a bright start to the season.
However, the Hammers now sit in 11th spot but they are just three points adrift of Arsenal in fifth, and Haller feels it is vital they get back to winning ways when Sheffield United visit this weekend.
The French striker joined West Ham in a club-record deal from Eintracht Frankfurt over the summer and he has no concerns over the quality of his team-mates, but is well aware they need to stop the rot if they are to enjoy a successful campaign. “I think we had a good start, now we’ve lost two in a row but I’m sure about the quality of my team-mates,” he told the club’s official website. “Now we need to be focused on getting better. Mentally we’re ready to fight, to win the game, and we’ve got to go and get the results. “We need to improve ourselves, give the maximum and we know in England everything is possible. We can beat every team but every team can also beat us.”
Haller expects a “really difficult game” against the Blades, who are unbeaten on their travels since January, but he remains confident West Ham can claim all three points regardless.
