Bayern keen on Lille strike starlet

Bayern Munich are reported to be showing an interest in Lille striker Victor Osimhem, who is shining in Ligue 1 this season. Bayern are on the look-out for new attacking talent and Osimhen has caught the eye of scouts after firing home eight goals and providing a further two assists for Lille.
The 20-year-old is second in the Ligue 1 goalscoring charts and looks to have a very bright future ahead of him, something that Bayern have cottoned on to quickly.
Die Roten currently have arguably the hottest striker in world football right now in the shape of Robert Lewandowski, but he will need replacing one day.
It has been suggested that Osimhen has the potential to one day replace the Poland international, but could also be good enough to join the Bayern ranks and provide cover for now.
The Nigeria international has already had experience of the Bundesliga when making 12 appearances for Wolfsburg back in 2017 before going on to join Belgium side RSC Chaleroi.
The young forward showed his potential with 20 goals and four assists before Lille swooped into to snap him up for what could be a bargain 12million euros.
If reports turns out to be correct, he may not be with Lille for long, with Bayern said to be planning a swoop when the January transfer window opens.
Osimhen limped out of Lille’s 3-0 victory over Bordeaux at the weekend and the extent of the injury has yet to be revealed.
