Watford v Chelsea team news

Quique Sanchez Flores has been boosted by the return of Isaac Success ahead of Watford’s encounter with Chelsea at Vicarage Road on Saturday. The Hornets boss has received some good news, with Success returning to fitness after a groin problem.
Meanwhile, midfielder Etienne Capoue (back) is not 100 per cent but is in contention to face the Blues at the weekend, as Flores looks to rectify a run of just one goal in five matches in all competitions.
However, the Watford manager is still without Ismaila Sarr, Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley and Domingos Quina, whose groin injury picked up at Everton in midweek will sideline him for a fortnight.
The manager has also been given a boost with the confirmation Joao Pedro will join in January after the Brazilian was granted a work permit. “I saw him play and he is strong, really quick and he scores goals,” said the Flores, whose only victory in eight matches since taking over came in the Carabao Cup against Championship side Swansea. “January is so far away right now – the focus is on what happens in the next two days. We love the player but he is not the solution right now.”
Watford will have to do without Pedro in the meantime, starting this weekend with the arrival of Frank Lampard’s Chelsea.
The Blues are expected to make a host of changes from the side that suffered a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
Lampard is likely to revert to the same starting XI that secured 4-2 victory at Burnley in their last Premier League outing.
Christian Pulisic, who endured a difficult start to the season, was the hero against the Clarets with his first Premier League hat-trick and now the American looks set for a run in the starting line-up.
Marcos Alonso is expected to continue at left-back, with Emerson Palmieri suffering a setback in his recovery from injury.
