Gareth Bale plans to sit out next season at Real Madrid.
The Sun says Bale is set to remain at Real Madrid this summer in a £60million stand-off as he remains livid that he didn’t secure a move away last year.
Bale was on the verge of joining Chinese side Jiangsu Suning but the movel, which would have seen him earn £1million-per-week, collapsed over Real’s demands.
He is determined to see out the final two years of his deal at Real unless he can secure a move that suits him and has his contract paid up.
Bale’s wages total up to £30million a year when bonuses are taken into consideration.
The 31-year-old didn’t travel to England for Real’s Champions League defeat against Manchester City after informing Zinedine Zidane that he didn’t want to be involved.
