Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud admits a move to Tottenham in January was a serious option.
Giroud eventually extended his contract for another year in May, but he was determined to leave the Blues in January because of a lack of playing time.
“I almost signed for Lazio, Inter … I was so determined to leave that I almost even signed for Tottenham,” he told So Foot.
“I had to go at all costs because I was subjected to the subjective choices of a coach.
“Then things turned out differently…”
