Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is set to suffer rejection from Real Madrid.
Pogba again talked up the prospect of a future move to Madrid yesterday, insisting such a switch would be “a dream for any player”.
But AS says Pogba may’ve missed his chance with Real unlikely to try again for the France international.
Indeed, club sources say Real management have “ruled out” ever returning to the negotiating table for the midfielder. Instead, PSG striker Kylian Mbappe and Rennes midfielder Edouardo Camavinga are the Madrid giant’s priorities.
With United holding a unilateral 12 month option on Pogba’s contract from 2021 and his €15m salary out of Real’s range, insiders are insisting any prospect of a future transfer is now off.
