Pavel Nedved claims Andrea Pirlo and Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at Juventus and insists the Old Lady will ‘fight until the end.’
The Juventus vice president was given the infamous Tapiro d’Oro trophy – the Golden Tapir – by satirical television show Striscia La Notizia on Monday.
Andrea Pirlo was supposed to receive it, but the coach probably left the Continassa from a different gate.
“There are some difficulties, but we’ll fight until the end,” Nedved said while leaving the training centre.
The club confirmed their trust in Pirlo despite a humiliating 3-0 home defeat against Milan.
The Bianconeri sit fifth in the Serie A table and, as it stands, they would be out of the Champions League for next season, meaning Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at the club would also be in doubt.
However, the former winger denied the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star will leave the club.
“Pirlo and Ronaldo will stay at Juventus,” Nedved confirmed.
