The Lone Star of Liberia got their 2022 FIFA World Cup second round qualifying campaign back on track, after pipping Central African Republic 1-0 in their second Group C game on Monday.
Played in Douala, Cameroon, a late strike from Kpah Sherman helped Liberia bounce back from their 2-0 opening day loss to Nigeria on Friday.
With four minutes left in the game, Sherman emerged the hero by grabbing what proved to be the winner for his side.

The win took the Liberians to second place on three points behind leaders Nigeria while Cape Verde and Central African Republic are third and fourth respectively.
Tuesday will see Cape Verde host the Super Eagles as both teams meet in a competitive game for the first time.
Their first and only encounter was in a friendly in 2013 which ended goalless.
