Former Nigerian midfielder, Emmanuel Amuneke has advised Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho to continue to focus on his game despite been drop to the bench by Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers.
The Nigerian international who had a successful performance last season, is yet to start a game in the Premier League for the Foxes.
However, he was among the goal scorers as the Foxes tamed Millwall in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup, to earn a place in the tournament’s fourth round – where they will face Brighton and Hove Albion.
In an interview with TribalFootball, the Atlanta Olympic gold medalist, stated that Iheanacho will soon win his way into Rodger’s heart.

“He should not allow the success of the today to overwhelm him because what is good today in football is outdated tomorrow, so he just needs to continue to realise that and continue to work hard.
“He’s a player with talent, but of course there are other aspects a player needs to try as much as he can to improve especially when he is not with the ball. It is more important to know how to play without the ball and that will justify how to rate a player totally.”
