Abramovic Considers Selling Chelsea

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich may sell the club with offers set to come in by the end of this week.

Three investors are rumoured to be interested in buying the club

Abramovich relinquished “stewardship and care” of Chelsea to the trustees of the club’s charitable organization on Saturday.

Abramovich handed over to trustees with the aim of dissociating himself from the club.

However the trustees have not accepted his proposal with some contemplating resignation.

The Telegraph reports that prospective buyers of Chelsea believe the first step would be Abramovich revealing that he is willing to sell.

Chelsea always claim that the club is not for sale but Roman Abramovich may be left without a choice.

Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel was asked about the claim in a press conference ahead Wednesday’s Emirates FA Cup clash against Luton Town.

When quizzed concerning Abrahamovic’s position,he maintained that he wasn’t aware of the situation.

“I have to say that’s a bit too much for me to answer, Tuchel said.

“I’m not aware of any details and I’m not aware of the whole situation.

“We all agree there are situations much, much more important than football, this will never change.

“And situations like war are much more important.

“But the role of Mr Abramovich is not for me to comment on, because I simply don’t know enough about it.

There have been some reports that he has attempted to mediate peace talks between Ukraine and Russia.

Tuchel was questioned on the issue and he said “listen, listen, listen- you have to stop. I am not a politician,” he raged.

“You have to stop, honestly. I can only repeat(it’s horrible). And I even feel bad to repeat it because I never experienced war.

“So even to talk about it I feel bad because I am very privileged. I sit here in peace and I do the best I can, but you have to stop asking me this questions. I have no answers for you.”
