Barcelona have confirmed the signing of former AC Milan star Franck Kessie on a free transfer.
Over the last three years, Kessie has established himself as one of Italy’s top midfielders, taking his game to the next level with a permanent move to Milan from Atalanta in 2019.

What Are The Terms Of The Agreement?
Kessie underwent a medical before signing a four-year contract at Camp Nou, and he will now join the rest of the squad for pre-season.
According to reports, Barcelona have agreed to pay the Ivory Coast international β¬6.5 million annually, with potential increases dependent on performance-based add-ons.

Barcelona was able to register Kessie after agreeing to sell 10% of their La Liga TV rights to global investment group Sixth Street Partners.
That agreement will be worth a total of β¬267 million (Β£229 million/$277 million) to the Blaugrana, who have been attempting to balance their coffers after incurring record-breaking debts in 2021.
Andreas Christensen, another free agent, is expected to join Kessie at Camp Nou, and Barcelona has also made money available to pursue top targets like Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich and Raphinha of Leeds.
