Renato Sanches is close to joining PSG from Lille. The Parisian club is interested in him as Gini Wijnaldum seeks to sign a season-long loan deal with Roma.
Sanches signed a four-year deal with Lille in 2019 for €25m (£21m/$25.5m), making him the club’s most expensive signing.
He was injured for the first half of the 2021-22 season, but he returned to play frequently after that. He appeared in 31 games for the club last season, scoring once and assisting on five others.

What Are The Details Of The Deal?
According to L’Equipe, Sanches is likely to go to Paris on a permanent transfer and has already agreed on personal terms.
PSG have accepted to pay €15m (£12.5m/$15m) for the midfielder, who is in the final year of his contract.
The reigning Ligue 1 champions pressed for a loan deal with a mandatory buy option next summer, but Lille turned down the offer.
The player is no longer exercising with the team and has resorted to solo workouts in the gym.
This will be PSG’s fourth signing of the summer, following Vitinha, Nordi Mukiele, and Hugo Ekitike.

Milan will pay €32 million ($33 million/£27 million) plus €3 million in add-ons for his services.
Arsenal were also linked with a bid for Sanches, but the midfielder prefered a transfer to Paris.
