It has been confirmed that Arsenal reject Nicolas Pepe will spend the season on loan with Nice.
The winger will return to France on a one-year loan, with Nice having no option to purchase at the end of the agreement.

The Ivory Coast international has previously played in France in Lille where he achieved great success. The Ivorian arrived as the Club’s record signing back in 2019.
Why Is Pepe Leaving Arsenal?
For a while, Pepe’s time at Arsenal had long expired. The former Lille winger never fully delivered for Arsenal, and has been left out of Mikel Arteta’s plans this season.
The transfer comes after several poor seasons for Pepe, the £72m ($85m) club-record acquisition at Arsenal. Last year, it was obvious that Arteta no longer trusted the winger.
The move comes at a good time for him, and it isn’t shocking to see him relaunch his career in Ligue 1 considering the level of success he had there.
