Although Manchester United will still be “alert” in the market, Erik Ten Hag has revealed Antony and Martin Dubravka will be his final summer additions.
Once agreements for Newcastle goalkeeper Dubravka and Ajax winger Antony are finalized, Ten Hag does not anticipate making any other acquisitions.
This summer, the United manager has spent $247m ($264m) to make major changes to the team at Old Trafford.
Even though Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, and Antony have all been signed, Ten Hag still looks to improve his team. Albeit, that may come in the January winter window.
At the beginning of the summer, De Jong was a top target, and United are ready to rekindle their interest in him in upcoming transfer windows.
Also anticipated to stay at the club are Cristiano Ronaldo and Aaron Wan Bissaka. It will take a dramatic late turn for the Portugal international especially to leave.
He was eager to leave for a Champions League team this summer, however, there hasn’t been much interest from clubs.
Despite interest from West Ham and Crystal Palace, Ten Hag also stated that Aaron Wan-Bissaka would stay.
What Did Ten Hag Say?
When asked if Dubravka’s signing is the last, Ten Hag replied: “I think so, it will be for this window the end.
