Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he plans to continue representing Portugal even after the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
There had been discussion on whether the upcoming World Cup would be the legendary forward’s last major competition at the age of 37.
Speaking on his future with the national team, Ronaldo said that after playing in the World Cup this winter, he still plans to compete at the Euro 2024. With his international future secured, Ronaldo looks set to surpass 189 caps for Portugal.

The Manchester United star was at the Portuguese Football Federation’s Quinas de Ouro ceremony on Tuesday. After being presented with an award, he then spoke about his Portugal furture.
