The Return Of Fantasy Premier League, October Mini-League

The return of the Fantasy Premier League game is almost upon us after what was an uneventful September for FPL managers.

The Queen’s death which put a stop to all footballing activities in early September saw no games played in GW7.

However, GW8 came amidst the Queen’s burial, and only 7 games (of the possible 10) kicked off across the Premier League.

Kevin De Bruyne (£12.3m), Harry Kane (£11.4m) and Son Heung-min (£11.7m) all scored double-digit totals. Meanwhile, Son hauled in 19 points with an astonishing hattrick as a substitute.

Immediately after GW8, the first international break of the season followed. With the World Cup looming large in November, this wouldn’t be the only internationals-related break to occur over the course of this season.

However, with several international stars returning to their clubs this week, FPL is about to go full steam once again.

With some mouth-watering clashes this weekend, FPL managers will surely be tinkering on players to bring in. The Manchester and North London derbies all take place in GW9.

The Fantasy deadline for GW9 is Saturday, October 1st, at 11:00am WAT.

The iSoccer October Mini-League

GW8 brought the end of the September mini-league prior to the international break. The winners for GW8 and the September mini-league have been announced in a previous post.

Each of the top 3 winners in the September mini-league will receive N10,000 each. While the top 5 in GW8 have each received their recharge vouchers.

Ahead of the October mini-league, each manager should only have one team represented in the league. No manager should register more than one team in the league.

GW9, which starts on Oct 1st, ushers in a new monthly mini-league in the iSoccer FPL competition. There are 6 gameweeks in October between GW9 – GW14.

Routinely, the top 5 managers will receive recharge vouchers each of those week from iSoccer. Meanwhile, the top 3 managers at the end of the month receive N10,000 each as stated previously.
