According to some reports in Germany, Chelsea has already had a medical exam done on RB Leipzig attacker, Christopher Nkunku.
With 20 goals and 13 assists in the previous season, the 24-year-old was among the top performers in the Bundesliga.
Meanwhile, Nkunku had already been linked to a number of clubs in Europe, and former Manchester United manager, Ralf Rangnick, had even recommended Nkunku to Man United.
“There will be many clubs in the race for Christopher Nkunku next summer, including Chelsea as they’ve always been interested and attentive to his growth.”

BILD claims, however, that Chelsea is currently in the driver’s seat in the race to sign the France international.
According to BILD, Nkunku underwent a medical with Chelsea just before the summer transfer window closed at a neutral facility in Frankfurt.
Nkunku has a €60m (£52.8m) buyout clause in his contract with RB Leipzig, and Chelsea hopes to sign him next summer.
Meanwhile, Nkunku renewed his contract with RB Leipzig in June, tying him to the Bundesliga team through 2026.
