Barcelona had to make a significant squad change over the summer, with a number of fringe players leaving the team to make room for new recruits.
Players like Clement Lenglet, and Samuel Umtiti were among those on the list.
However, there were certain fringe players who were able to stay at Spotify Camp Nou despite tremendous pressure, including Memphis Depay.
However, according to a recent report from Diario SPORT, Depay’s prospects of a move away from Camp Nou could be revived once again, in the upcoming January transfer window.
Juventus, one of the teams connected with a bid for the Dutch forward during the summer transfer window, are now again interested in the forward.
They have now rekindled their interest in the player and anticipated to make a move in January.
Juventus’ interest in Depay comes after a challenging start to the season that saw them exit the UEFA Champions League group stages.

They are also sluggishly ranked seventh in the standings and far from being a title contender.
One of the main reasons behind their underperformance has been the lack of efficiency going forward. As such, the Bianconeri are prepared to make a move for Depay, hoping that the Barcelona frontman could add more edge to the team’s attacking lineup.
Barcelona, for their part, are already working on sanctioning his exit in the January transfer window.
