After withdrawing from the England World Cup team for “personal reasons,” Ben White seems to be looking forward to getting back to Arsenal.
White, who has been a key player for Premier League leaders Arsenal this season, left Qatar to return home on November 30.
The former Brighton defender did not feature in England’s opening two group matches and missed their win over Wales through illness.
White, 25, joined some of his Arsenal team-mates in Dubai at the weekend as Mikel Arteta’s side enjoy a warm weather training camp ahead of the return of the Premier League later this month.
He was pictured in training yesterday ahead of the upcoming friendly against AC Milan and has now taken to social media for the first time since leaving the World Cup, writing ‘We back baby’ alongside three pictures of himself training and a smiling emoji.
The FA requested privacy for White after he left Qatar, while Arsenal said on social media: ‘We’re all with you, Ben.’

It has since been reported by some outlets that White was unhappy in the England camp and had fallen out with Gareth Southgate’s assistant Steve Holland.
Southgate was asked whether this was true prior to England’s quarter-final defeat to France.

🚨 Sources have told ESPN that there was an incident at a team meeting involving Ben White, after a report emerged on Friday suggesting he had been involved in a disagreement with assistant manager Steve Holland, but describe the situation as ‘complicated’.
