Despite receiving a red card in their semi-final victory against Southampton, Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes will be available for the Carabao Cup final.
Following a VAR review, the Brazilian was dismissed in the 82nd minute for a strong challenge on Sam Edozie that was determined to be a red card offense.

The midfielder has been in outstanding form for the Magpies this year, and many feared he would be ruled out of the final, where Newcastle will likely face Manchester United.
However, the good news is Guimaraes will be available, as his three-match ban carries over to the Premier League. So, while the Brazilian will miss matches against West Ham, Bournemouth and Liverpool, he will be available for Wembley.

Eddie Howe’s side booked their spot in the final after a 2-1 win against the Saints and they’ll play in a Wembley showpiece for the first time in 24 years.
Manchester United are set to face Newcastle in the final, given they have a healthy 3-0 lead against Nottingham Forest ahead of tonight’s semi-final second leg.
Newcastle’s last final appearance also came against the Red Devils, in the 1999 FA Cup final.
