Thiago Silva’s Wife Labels Graham Potter A “Deadbeat” Coach

Belle Silva, the wife of Thiago Silva, has liked a tweet calling Graham Potter a “deadbeat tactic-less coach.” It comes as pressure on the former Brighton coach grows in the wake of Saturday’s devastating loss to Southampton.

For the third time in a matter of weeks, Potter was jeered off the field as Chelsea were condemned to the latest shock result in a string of poor form stretching back to October.

Notwithstanding the anger that Blues supporters have directed towards Graham Potter, he still seems to have the owners’ support—at least for the time being.

With one win in nine games, Potter chose to rest star players for the game against Saints due to fitness concerns after an intense Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund in midweek. Silva was one of those that missed out, the first time he hasn’t played since October.

Meanwhile, Silva signed a new one-year extension with the club earlier this month and is still one of the most important players in the squad but Belle, who has made quite the name for herself within the fanbase for comical moments and connection to the club, hasn’t helped him out here.

Below a tweet about Brazilian TV one ‘supporter’ replied to Belle Silva, writing, “can u ask silva to coach our club himself because we have a deadbeat tacticless coach who doesn’t know what he is doing ,he doesn’t even understand this is Chelsea football club he thinks he is still at Brighton.”

She then liked the comment and hasn’t unliked it since then.

The incident, which has been flagged on social media by fans, doesn’t help ease the atmosphere within the camp as Chelsea face a tough time on the pitch.
