Manchester United are reportedly ready to sell both Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof this summer to make room for a new center-back.
Erik ten Hag’s strongest XI at Old Trafford does not include Maguire or Lindelof, with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez establishing a strong relationship in the middle of the defense during the 2022-23 season.
This season, Luke Shaw has also been utilized as a center-back, and there has been much speculation over Maguire and Lindelof’s futures in recent weeks.
PSG and Newcastle United are believed to be interested in Maguire, while Inter Milan are heavily linked with a deal for Lindelof.
Football Insider reports that the 20-time English champions would allow both Maguire and Lindelof to leave the team this summer for the right prices.
According to the report, Man United’s top target this summer is Napoli’s Kim Min-jae, with Ten Hag looking to bring in strong competition for Martinez and Varane.
Maguire will make his 24th appearance of the season in Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final against Fulham, as Varane is ruled out due to injury.

However, Maguire has only made 11 Premier League appearances, and it’s believed that Ten Hag has made a decision to sell him this summer.
Lindelof has made 21 club appearances this season, however he has struggled for Premier League appearances, appearing only nine times in England’s top league.
A number of clubs have been connected with the 28-year-old, but the strongest interest is believed to be coming from Serie A in the shape of Inter.
The extent of Manchester United’s summer transfer business is still under wraps, given the Glazers are currently negotiating the club’s sale.
