Newcastle United are interested in the signature of Atalanta’s sensational striker, Rasmus Hojlund.
Hojlund was rumored with a move to Newcastle last summer. And after a strong start to life in Italy, speculations are back.
The 20-year-old made his Serie A debut for Atalanta this season and has performed admirably ever since. According to the Chronicle, Newcastle has kept watch of him. And Steve Nickson has dispatched scouts to keep tabs on his development.
It might result in a transfer to St. James’ Park because the Toons are allegedly eager to get him to the Premier League. Because they are looking for another striker.

But there are various clubs who are also interested in the talented Danish forward.
Newcastle are not the only club looking to sign Hojlund this summer, as per reports from Italy.
According to Tutto Atalanta, AC Milan, Napoli, and Arsenal are all keen as well. Both Victor Osimhen and Olivier Giroud could be replaced by Hojlund. Both Italian clubs believe.
Atalanta will demand at least £35 million for the young striker, according to the report. And Newcastle are “more than ready” to make the Italian team “rich again.”
Over the past 12 months, he has already made significant progress. And this has earned him attention on a global scale. Hojlund, who is currently leading the Danish forward-line, has had a week to remember.
The forward’s hat-trick goals in a victory over Finland drew comparisons to Jon Dahl Tomasson, a former Newcastle star. Since then, Hojlund has added two more goals, scoring a brace in the shocking loss to Kazakhstan on Sunday.
