Lionel Messi ACCEPTS £260m-A-Year Deal From Al-Hilal, Set To Overlook Barcelona

After accepting a record-breaking £260m contract, Lionel Messi is reportedly going to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal this summer.

According to sources in Spain, the 35-year-old World Cup champion will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current campaign and will bypass Barcelona in favor of the Middle East.

According to El Chiringuito TV, Messi will accept the offer made by the four-time Asian Champions League champions and move to Saudi Arabia with his former adversary Cristiano Ronaldo.

Remarkably, they also anticipate that he will be joined there by his former Barcelona teammate Sergio Busquets, who will accept a two-year deal, and possibly Jordi Alba.

Messi will leave Paris at the end of the current season, according to news that broke last week. Barcelona and MLS team Inter Miami were both rumored to be interested.

However, if the reports are to be believed, Messi will accept the lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia’s most successful team.

Messi is already a tourism ambassador for the country, paid £25m-a-year to do so, and it was an unauthorised visit to Riyadh last week that hastened his exit from the Parc des Princes.
