Italian giants, Juventus and Napoli are reportedly targeting Chelsea winger, Christian Pulisic ahead of the summer transfer window.
For some time now, Pulisic has appeared ready to move out of west London. And he could have done so in January if he had not sustained a serious knee injury.
The winger was linked with Manchester United, Newcastle, and Juventus back then. And while Premier League clubs’ interest in him has waned, a transfer to Italy is still a possibility.
The Daily Mail reported that Napoli, the current Serie A champions, and Juventus, who are presently second in the standings, are vying for the services of the American international.
Although the asking price for Pulisic is unknown. The fact that he only has one year left on his contract. And that Chelsea are in urgency to offload some players after spending almost £600 million during the previous season suggests that he might be available for a lower fee.
The 24-year-old is desperate to leave Stamford Bridge because, since joining the Blues for £58 million from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, he has not really cemented himself as a starter.
Out of Pulisic’s 27 appearances this season across all competitions only 10 have been starts. And he has only one goal and two assists to show for his efforts.

Chelsea will be hopeful that Napoli’s interest in the USA star is genuine since they may utilize him in exchange as part of player-plus-cash deal for highly sought-after striker Victor Osimhen.
The Nigeria international has been in phenomenal form this season. Tallying 28 goals in 35 outings and sparking interest from both Manchester United and the Blues.
