Barcelona Set To Face Super League Co-Members, Arsenal, Milan

The busy FC Barcelona summer window is about to kick off, but they must also look towards their preseason beyond this season.

Currently focused on guaranteeing the La Liga title returns to the Catalans for the first time since 2018/2019, their opponents for the forthcoming pre-season have subsequently also been determined.

According to Mundo DeportivoFC Barcelona are currently planning on facing off against four European heavyweights during its preseason trip to the United States in 2023/2024.

While two of those opponents have only recently been decided upon, the other two are fellow Super League members.

El Clasico rivals Real Madrid, Serie A record winners Juventus, this season’s UEFA Champions League semi-finalists AC Milan and Premier League contenders Arsenal conclude the list of four that Barca will face over the course of their USA trip.

With the official 2023/2024 season slated to begin on August 12th, Barcelona has until then to complete their preseason preparations in order to be ready for the forthcoming season.

Originally, the Catalans were to face only three opponents while on tour.

Yet as Mundo Deportivo reports, it was due to generating more revenue for the success of their presented “Feasibility Plan” that FC Barcelona have decided to engage in another additional friendly.
