Manchester United could reportedly help Newcastle United to sign Leicester City winger, Harvey Barnes in the summer transfer window.
Eddie Howe sees the one capped England international as his number one target. Talks are still going on, but the Foxes reportedly want a fee up to the tune of £40 million.
Leicester are ready to part with the winger. But they will still need to find a replacement, which is where Man United come in.
The Daily Mail stated that the Championship outfit have joined Sheffield United and Burnley in the competition to lure in Amad Diallo on a temporary basis.
The 21-year-old is in high demand after excelling at Sunderland last season. He was brought in by the Red Devils from Atalanta for £37 million in 2019.
He became a devoted fan favorite after helping the Black Cats reach the Championship Playoffs with 14 goals.
However, Erik ten Hag isn’t anticipated to decide on Diallo’s future until later this summer. Although Barnes’ future is probably going to be decided much sooner.
Coincidentally, the 25-year-old was not included in the matchday squad for last week’s friendlies against Northampton Town and Peterborough United.

“At the moment Harvey is our player and he has been training with us,” said Leicester boss Enzo Marseca. “In the last few days he did not train because he has a small problem but he is fine. We will see what happens in the future.”
All eyes will be focused on if Barnes will be traveling with Leicester when they embark on their preseason tour of Thailand later this week.
