Liverpool Set To Make Move For Arsenal And Chelsea Target

Liverpool are leading Arsenal and Chelsea in the hunt to recruit Southampton prodigy Romeo Lavia, according to recent reports.

Lavia established himself as one of the Premier League’s most promising young midfielders last season.

Meanwhile, he is expected to find new club this summer after the Saints were relegated to the Championship.

In an effort to strengthen their midfields, Mikel Arteta and Mauricio Pochettino have been extensively linked with moves for the Belgian international.

However, according to transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, Jurgen Klopp is in the lead in the race to recruit the 19-year-old as Liverpool have reached an agreement on personal terms and are putting together an offer in the range of £35m.

“#LiverpoolFC finally starts the talks with #Southampton for Romeo Lavia,” Tavolieri wrote on Twitter.

“Belgian midfielder’s side just agreed on personal terms. These days, Romeo Lavia was waiting for the green light of #LFC Board and was a little annoyed that it was dragging… It moved now!

“First official bid to be send soon by the Reds. I understand Reds wants to start with an offer close to 35M£…Wait&See.”
